Voice Mail
Our Audix telephone number is 7-7111. Your
telephone should already have it's own password. Ask the other
students in the office you share what the password is. If you try to get into the system two or three times and use the
wrong password, it will assume you are not authorized to get into the
voice-mail box, and it will lock up the system in order to protect the
privacy of those who receive messages at that number.
To log into
the system, you dial the audix number (7-7111) and wait for the system to
answer. Enter your own extension number and then press #. If
you're calling from your own extension, you can omit your extension number
and just press #. Enter the password, then press # again. You
are now logged in.
Audix's
comprehensive help system will now "talk you through" its layers of menu
options. If more help is needed, press *H to get HELP.
Basically,
all you need to know is how to record a personal greeting message and how to
retrieve your messages. A greeting message allows you to name the
names of all the people receiving calls at that phone number. Until
someone makes a personal message, calls are answered by the audio
information exchange service and only room numbers or office titles are
included in the exchange service greeting message.
